Rain, Rain, Go Away...
It's raining! Not only is it raining, but it is supposed to rain all day! When I was little enough to still spend days at a time at my grandma's house, I used to sing that "Rain, Rain, Go Away..." song whenever it rained, much to her protest (of the song's intention, not my singing). Back then, I hated being cooped up by the rain. Several years later though, I came to love the rain and I would go outside and get soaked in it, much to my parents' protest. Sometimes I think I should move to Seattle...

Kira,
Thanks for the comments on the "believing in people," you know i have come to see in my life (all 24 yrs of it) (i know not much living on the grander scale of things) that the evil in people is really the absence of love. Not the kind of love that runs across a t.v. screen in a rage, or even the filling a room with roses and making love before you die (really cheeky stuff like that). I mean real love, the one that forgives, that is patient, that is kind... (Corinthians 14). The bible's description of love...its the real kind. Essentially the kind that accepts our humanity and still loves.
PS The rain is great (smile)
